Excellent choice of artwork + antique furniture in rooms. Beautiful garden and interesting library. We loved the fact that there was no television.
cosy, got everything you need, welcoming staff, good location
A nicely run vegetarian guest house, tranquil atmosphere and courteous staff
I loved the beauty and attention to details. The feeling of warmth and trust. Your ethos of wanting to provide a London home.
Lisa was a godsend booking on the phone and was equally magnanimous & congenial in person, as well were all the staff. Very familial, and equally relaxed.
Great location: In spite of being a literal stone’s throw from the Hammersmith Apollo, the Hammersmith Flyover, and nearly as close to the Hammersmith Tube station, the atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet.
The surrounding area is lovely: one direction to the Thames and its park-like atmosphere; another direction in town with lots of places to eat.
Speaking of cuisine, Temple Lodge shares a structure with the brilliant Gate Vegetarian Restaurant. Back in house, there is a great library and reading room. Out back is the most lovely garden, which several of the rooms overlook, all of which are artist themed, have a rustic quality, and are perfect for comfortable sleep.
We had a wonderful week-end stay. The Temple Lodge Club is like an oasis of peace in this otherwise busy part of London. And the service at check-in, breakfast and check-out was extremely warm and friendly. Many thanks! We are planning to come back later in the year. January 2015
Temple Lodge is located in the centre of busy Hammersmith, yet still very quiet. Everyone working there is very friendly and beds are really nice too!
A peaceful atmosphere and friendliness is what I really like about Temple Lodge.
We thought Temple Lodge was lovely- a real oasis. Couldn’t believe how quiet it is so close to the centre of Hammersmith. Everyone on the team is helpful and efficient. Will definitely recommend to others.

I stayed here for only one night in August of 2011 & it was lovely. I would return in an instant. A lovely room & grounds. Hopefully WILL get to return one day One day was definitely not long enough.
Peaceful, friendly and a relaxing place for single women to stay.
I stayed here regularly for two years whilst completing studies and business in the area. I have loved every minute of it and regard it as home from home. It is my first choice for staying in the area. The breakfasts really set you up for the day and yes it is peaceful especially if you get a bedroom overlooking the garden.
It’s very clean and I liked its simplicity. It’s an oasis in London, especially in Hammersmith. The Gate’s food is amazing!
I liked the quietness of Temple Lodge: everything is clean, orderly, cared for.

We liked most your ambience, but also easy access to the station and airport and central London, and the vegetarian restaurant.
A lovely light, comfortable room and palatial bathroom.
Tthe calm is not just physical but spiritual. The “little things” are extraordinarily thoughtful. If I could have stayed longer….
