Hammersmith is the nearest underground station on Piccadilly and District Lines with a direct connection from Heathrow Airport. It is also the western terminus of the Hammersmith and City Line. The bus station is situated directly above the tube station with services connecting to all parts. There is also a night bus service. By car: directly from the west along A4/M4 and from westerly directions along A3 and A40. The North/South Circular Roads give access from other directions. Parking locally on the street is metered during the day.

Arriving at the Broadway Centre look for exit signs marked Hammersmith Apollo and take this way out. Keep the theatre to your left, pass St Vincent’s House Care Home and then turn left through the Angel Gate. From this courtyard there is access both to The Gate Restaurant and Temple Lodge.

The Gate Vegetarian Restaurant is well worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

Accessibility: Because of the historical nature of the building it is not possible to install lifts and so the bedrooms, which are all on the first and second floors are not accessible with a wheelchair.
